Growing Collards
Growing Collards is an interactive folk arts project by Li Pallas detailing the visual/audio collective history of greens in the city of New Orleans as told by people living and visiting there currently. Please join us during gallery hours to make your contribution to our archives by telling a story or memory, writing out a recipe card, drawing a picture, or helping us with our bed of collards. Saturdays throughout November we will establish a cooking lab to try and taste your recipes. All activities are *free* to the public!
Gallery Hours for the Project include
Fridays 11-6pm and Saturdays 11-4
Viewing now through the end of November with the exception of Halloween Weekend
